Tonight we are heading to special fx guru Logan Wall’s studio in Philly to work on some special fx make up we need for some upcoming projects.  She is incredibly talented and along with her equally talent partner Hector Mendoza I expect our special fx make up and gore to be top notch for our future projects.  It’s going to be nice working on this tonight just to be distracted from real life for a while.  I don’t talk about personal stuff anymore just so I don’t feed the trolls but there have been things going on that have prevented me from devoting a lot of my time and energy to these projects.  I hope things become less crazy in the next couple of months so I can get back to my projects.

I am looking forward to the escape the Chicago Fear Fest is going to provide April 13th and 14th.  It is going to be nice to get lost and forget about life for a while.  The line up is spectacular and their are several movies they are showcasing that I am dying to see.  REC 3 being one of them.  I am a huge fan of the previous REC films and I’m hoping this one delivers like the previous 2 have.

I recently contracted someone to turn the LRWF logo into an animation to be shown before each of my films.  I am really happy with how it turned out.  Now I just need to add sound effects.  Should be fun…I enjoy foley work immensely.  Check out the awesome opening animation video below:
