Very excited to be meeting with the people over at the Landis Theater today. The first meeting went amazingly well and we thought we had a For Love of Zombies premiere date all hammered out but alas November 5th was not meant to be so we will meet today to figure out the new premiere date. Premiering a film at the Landis theater is a dream come true for me. I remember going to see some of my favorite movies there as a child and I remember how disappointed I was when they shut their doors. I am very excited to be the first film that will be shown at the newly restored theater and can’t wait to pack the house. I’m already getting goose bumps thinking about my movie playing at a place that was so important to me as a child.
Editing has slowed a bit thanks to me once again moving. I really don’t have a place to set up my equipment to edit and I am trying to find a place to set up shop. The movie is nearly complete and I am anxious to finish so I can enter it in all the festivals that I have my eye on. I know it will all work out because I always find a way. I want to cut a trailer for the film so I can begin promoting the premiere as well so lots to be done.
I know I’ve said this several times already but I will be blogging more in the upcoming weeks and months leading up to the FLoZ premiere. I am also still working very hard to launch Grindhouse Radio. Once again thank you for all the support you have shown. Full Story »
