Ron DiPrimio is an award winning screenwriter who has been writing since childhood. His love for horror began when he snuck out of his room as a child to watch Alien and the rest as they say is history. Ron's major inspirations to write horror are John Lanids, John Carpenter and more recently Simon Pegg and Edgar Wright.
His award winning screenplay SCENT has finished in the top 10 of many major screenwriting competitions. Ron is currently in negotiations to have excerpts from SCENT appear in a Screenwriting textbook that will be used in colleges across the country. There is also ongoing talks with the Dabel Brothers about turning SCENT into a comic book serial...stay tuned!
One of Ron's latest works currently titled DEAD NOON is making the rounds throughout the industry and was a finalist for Best Screenplay at the NYC Horrorfest 2007!
Sorrow Hill marks the directorial debut of Ron. He also penned the screenplay but don't worry he doesn't plan on acting in his own film.
Ron has also launched Grindhouse Radio a very popular radio show that airs every Friday night. Ron will also begin airing podcasts with interviews of people involved heavily in the horror industry. So stay tuned.
